I found just how criminal some of these so-called anti-gunners are firsthand.

I fought the city of Tombstone, Arizona, over their old Earp ordinance that prohibited the carrying of firearms within the city limits back in 1991-94. During this fight the city officials lied, the local newspaper lied, I had property destroyed, I was harassed and shot at.

Before it came to an end, I had to shoot and wound a man in self defense while on my own property because of the old ordinance.

This fight was won in court in February of 1994 and the old Earp ordinance is no more.

My point is simply this:  The anti's in this fight were the law breakers and not the lawful gun owners but no one ever heard about or brought up that subject.

Subject:        Our right to control ourselves...

Comments:

Obama is a control freak. He developed into a classic need-to-control freak as a consequence of his childhood survival instinct. It is a clever reaction to his early life.

He saw himself as different from what he observed to be normal people who were successful. He observed that many people were successful, not like his unsuccessful family members. He felt frustrated and wanted to join the successful.

During his psychological development, he contrived a plan to allow him to blend in and thereby become non-threatening to normal people's culture that he endeavored to join.

His plan worked. He obviously fooled enough people.

Obama also developed a vengeful, over-powering resentment and anger toward the people and the culture he endeavored to join. He despised -- and continues today to despise -- the people within the society that forced him to constantly be on his guard, reacting in unthreatening manners. Obama was forced to act differently from what he was naturally.

Obama's long-term plan has now been fulfilled: Gain control over the people and the culture that made him uncomfortable. Today each American is a surrogate for those people who made Obama feel uncomfortable.

Obama's reaction is to need to assert control over those people who indirectly asserted control over him.

Obama is using financial problems to give him cover and authority to re-shape America. He is dismantling capitalism just as he promised to do when he used softer phrasings to sooth and entice the obamabots.

Removal of your guns, gun rights, religious freedoms, and eventually all individual rights is his plan to control you and the culture he once envied, wanted to fit into, but now needs to re-shape into a Lenin-style Communistic state having all the controls and limits of the USSR.

Obama will not be satisfied. There are not enough individual rights in existence to satiate his need to control everyone.

You have never worked for a boss, been married to a spouse, been subjected to anyone who had more power over you than does Obama.

Subject:        Our right to defend ourselves...

Comments:

I agree with Charlton Heston, there is no threat in a good man having a gun, only in the bad ones having guns.

We must fight to keep our right to keep our guns. If we start giving up our rights now, in a few years we will have no rights at all.

The right of every American to protect himself & his home is very precious to us; just as is the right to worship the God of our Choice. We should not allow the government to take away those rights.

Taking guns out of the homes of decent people would not stop the violence or even slow it down. Just look at the British to prove that. The criminals are going to get the guns, no matter what, so why should we be forced to give up ours?

Subject:        Outcome viewed from the day after.

Comments:

Finally the two-year campaign campaign has ended.  We can easily accept that fact as a comfort.

We can only hope that Obama and his socialist associates go somewhat quiet while attempting to implement their dirty deeds.

We know that at least one-half of all Americans know what he is about. We can safely assume that now that he has gained the opportunity to implement his plans, his incompetence will prevail as it always does with these types of fanatics. We can also be sure that over the months ahead, his true plans will become known and understood by more Americans. And that group will build into a majority of Americans.

We should assume that if Americans have a reasonable sense of what made America great, they will reject Obama and his associates in coming elections.

Until he can be removed and the nation cleansed back into capitalism, we must work to educate all Americans about why they or their forbearers emigrated here, why they have been able to earn and build comfortable lives, why they have had the opportunity to be as much as they can be, and why Obama is damaging them, their nation, and their children's futures.

Subject:        Dumbest Generation

Comments:

Economics 101- That is what should be taught in the schools. Along with Logic 101 and civics 101 and so forth. The "Dumbest generation" is going to be led into the ditch by this empty suited Marxist-socialist who happens to have a narcissistic personality disorder to go along with everything else. Arthur Laffer was ridiculed in the 80's and of course we now have the value of hindsight to see the comparison of the last 25-30 years vs. the late 60's and leading all the way to the disastrous Carter years.

The former led to dismay and increased poverty and stagflation and the latter (despite every attempt to thwart it-it was to a large extent thwarted with overspending and bloated government) was able to lead to greatly expanded wealth to ALL-yes ALL- upward mobility was made possible and jobs were multiplied. You watch, under the Messiah jobs will disappear as capital flees.

It's so instructive to understand the apt phrase "Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it" and "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely". With the Dems getting everything they need to instigate their social engineering schemes I will watch and see the dismay of those honest enough to see that the consequences of this escapade are a horror. But there will still be the true believers who would never be convinced in the face of facts. Then worse are those in power who will work to consolidate their power.

The only hope is that our system is not so broke that it can withstand the onslaught and eventually throw the bums out. Of course judicial appointments may make that point mute as a judiciary that legislates from the bench with a "living" constitution is tantamount to a blank check for social engineering and experimentation. As a recent article states "The people want a King" referring to ancient Israel and they got King Saul and reaped a whirlwind. So be America I guess.

Subject:        Messianic Danger

Comments:

Obama has presented himself from the start as a messianic, "transformational" leader -- and thus played deceitfully with ideas that belong to religion and not politics.

That he has done this so successfully is a mark of the degree to which the US itself, like the rest of the western world, has lost its purchase on the Christian religion. Powerful religious impulses have been spilt and secularized.

Subject:        Democrats are getting it.

Comments:

Democrats are starting to get it.

They're supporting a candidate who couldn't pass a security clearance to become an agent in the FBI; a candidate with questionable birth records who may very well have not been born in this country; a candidate who openly preaches wealth redistribution; a candidate who artfully hides his past and close associations with some very nasty people.

Yup, Democrats get it -- it's time for change.

Comment:

Charles Krauthammer in reference to Obama's narcissism asked, "[H]as there ever been a presidential nominee with a wider gap between his estimation of himself and the sum total of his lifetime achievements?"

Subject:        Chicago's Way

Comment:

The "Chicago-way" of doing politics has resulted in a city that is dead last in allowing personal choices.

Chicago has become a combat zone with out-of-control gang violence and a high rate of murders; the state pension fund is $44 billion dollars in debt, the worst in the country; Cook County sales tax of 10.25% is highest in the country; the Chicago school system -- controlled by the NEA -- is one of the worst in this nation; and political corruption has resulted in an endless line of politicians and their cronies having been sent to federal prison.

Welcome to Obama's vision for America.

Subject:        Obama asks himself: "Who am I?"

Comment:

Obama's slip announcing "My Muslim faith", on TV with George Stephenopolous' ABS News program ensured his own identification of his Muslim religious beliefs directly with the public.

Obama's psychic apparatus is a reflection of his dysfunctional childhood. "Who is daddy?" "What is my religion?" "Where do we live?" "Why are some of my family white and others black and still others black and Muslim." "Why in some schools do I bend over to pray and in others it's all different." Wow, what a strange brew this Obama is.

Obama is the guy in the K-mart parking lot loading the semi automatic preparing to unleash havoc forced into his actions by his internal demons.

Lets just keep that id under close observation before it explodes "changing" our lives forever.

Subject:        Ignorant electorate

Comment:

Don't American voters realize the damage the democratic candidate for president could cause if Obama were to be elected?

He has demonstrated he has a socialist viewpoint and he would implement all the wrong policies at the wrong time.

God help the United States if Obama is elected -- and if Congress is in the hands of democrats as well, the madness of self-serving fools will reign!
